Who hasn’t spent countless hours thinking about finding a way to love what they do for a living? Below are a few resources to help you focus your thinking and turn it into action. This could be the first step to finding your bliss.

How to Find Work That You Love — A Logical Guide

I would suggest starting here if you are just starting down the path of looking for work that you love. How to Find Work That You Love is an article that gives you a good starting ground and framework for not only thinking about but starting the process of finding work that you love. I suggest starting a notebook where you keep all your ideas/worksheets/brainstorm sessions recorded. To me, there is a power in writing things down. When I was trying to make a job change, I started by writing in a notebook what I wanted a typical day to look like for me. Now, two years later, I often have days that are just like the one I wrote to myself about. There was a lot of work between here and there but, the only way to get somewhere is to start out.

If you are ready to jump in with both feet, I recommend starting here. What Color Is Your Parachute is often referred to as the definitive text on finding your way to your dream job. I have this book. I love this book.
